MESH

Collective exhibition of the UdK Sound Studies & Sonic Arts Master’s program

2. February - 30. March 2025

Projektraum Zwitschermaschine - Potsdamer str 161, 10783 Berlin

SoundsAbout is back to occupy Projektraum Zwitschermaschine from February till March 2025. This season the gallery opens its doors to not only showcase the works of the students from the Sound Studies and Sonic Art’s Master’s Program of UdK, but also to host them as curators of their own programs. Apart from the gallery providing space for concert series organised by students, it also aims to connect with other students of the wider circle of UdK who use sound as their medium. As part of this gesture, for the first time SoundsAbout organises a collaborative event between Art and Media’s Generative Art’s class / The Society For Nontrivial Pursuits (S4NTP) and the students of Sound Studies and Sonic Arts.

Mesh celebrates disorganised connectivity, comprising the spaces beneath and between the net, showcasing the wide-ranging, friction-generating works with and around sound, within and beyond UdK Berlin.
