Realisiert Euer eigenes Projekt im OPEN CALL!
Wie auch vor einem Jahr habt Ihr im Sommer 2021 wieder die Möglichkeit, über die Grenzen Eurer Studiengänge hinaus eigene Projekte umzusetzen. Trotz der allgemeinen pandemischen Umstände wollen wir mit Euch die Situation weiterhin als Chance nutzen und neue Formen des Austausches und der Kooperation an der UdK erproben.

Egal ob künstlerische oder wissenschaftliche Herangehensweise, ob in der Gruppe oder allein – der interdisziplinäre und experimentelle Ansatz steht im Vordergrund. Über den Lauf des Semesters werdet ihr von einer interdisziplinären Gruppe von Lehrenden betreut und lernt in unseren regelmäßigen gemeinsamen Treffen die Denk- und Arbeitsweisen eurer Kommiliton*innen aus anderen Studiengängen kennen.

Mit dem OPEN CALL wollen wir einen neuen Aktionsraum an der UdK etablieren, in dem alle Fachbereiche im Austausch stehen: Bildhauerei und Musik, Theater und Design, GWK und bildende Kunst – egal in welcher Kombination. Lasst uns neue Schnittstellen entdecken!

Wie kann man mitmachen? Meldet Euch (und Eure Mitstreiter*innen) mit Eurem Projekt bis zum 28.4.2021, 12 Uhr  an. Gebt Eurem Projekt einen Titel. Nennt alle Beteiligten mit ihrem Namen, Studiengängen, Mailadresse, Matrikelnummer. Schreibt einen kurzen Abstract, in dem skizziert wird, um was es gehen soll. Insbesondere bereits bestehende studentische Initiativen sind herzlich eingeladen, ihre Arbeit als Projekt im Open Call anzumelden! Fragen bitte an studium-generale@udk-berlin.de.

bis 28.4.2021, 12 Uhr: Anmeldung der Projekte
28.4.2021: Plenum 1.1 - Kurze Projektvorstellung! (max 5 Minuten)
5.5., 12.5.2021: Sprechstunden, ab 17 Uhr
19.5.2021: Plenum 2, 17-19 Uhr
26.5., 2.6., 9.6.2021: Sprechstunden, ab 17 Uhr
16.6.2021: Plenum 3, 17-19 Uhr
23.6., 30.6., 7.7.2021: Sprechstunden, ab 17 Uhr
14.7.2021: Plenum 4 - Präsentation der Projektergebnisse, 17-19 Uhr

Leistungsanforderungen für den unbenoteten Studium Generale-Schein: aktive und regelmäßige Teilnahme an den Plenumssitzungen, Konzeption, Durchführung, Präsentation und Dokumentation eines Projekts (ggf. in der Gruppe). Im Abschlussplenum 4 ist eine Präsentation des eigenen Projekts verpflichtend. Für die schriftliche Dokumentation und Reflektion werden 3 Seiten erwartet. Wenn das Projekt ein Gruppenprojekt war, beschreiben Sie bitte auf einer weiteren 4. Seite Ihre individuelle Leistung.

Realise your own project in OPEN CALL!
Just as was possible last summer, you once again have the opportunity to realise your own project beyond the boundaries of your study course. Despite the ongoing pandemic measures, we want to continue to use these circumstances as the chance to model new methods of exchange and cooperation within the UdK with your own projects.

It doesn't matter if your approach is artistic or theoretical or whether you are alone or already in a group, as long as experimentation and interdisciplinarity is foregrounded. Over the course of the semester, you will be supervised by an interdisciplinary group of teachers and get insights into the ways of thinking and working of fellow students from other courses.

OPEN CALL is about establishing a new and active space at the UdK in which all departments are able to exchange: Sculpture and Music, Theatre and Design, GWK and Fine Art - the combination doesn't matter - let's invent new ones!

How can you participate? Register yourself (and the other members of your group) and your project using this form until 28.4.2021, midday.
Give your project a title. Name everyone involved together with their study course, email address and matriculation number. Write an abstract that sketches out what is involved. At the end of semester, each active participant in your project can be credited with 2 ETCS from the Studium Generale section of your course. If you have problems with the formula, please write an email to studium-generale@udk-berlin.de, "OPEN CALL Anmeldung"! Existing student initiatives are espescially welcome to submit their work as a project in the OPEN CALL.

Requirements for the ungraded Studium Generale credits: active and regular participation in the plenary sessions, conception, implementation, presentation and documentation of the project (individually or in a group). In the final plenary a presentation of the own project is obligatory. For written documentation and reflection, 3 pages are expected. If the project was a group project, please describe your individual performance on an additional 4th page.
