Işıl Eğrikavuk (PhD) is an artist and academic, whose research specializes in performance, dialogue-based art and artistic research. She has an MFA from School of The Art Institute of Chicago and a PhD from Istanbul Bilgi University. She has worked as a faculty member at Berlin University of Arts (UdK) since 2017. She has exhibited and performed at various international exhibitions including Chicago Architecture Biennial, Chicago; Die Buehne, Berlin; Art Souterrain, Montreal; Block Universe, London; Lenbachhaus Museum, Munich; Salt Galata&Ulus, İstanbul& Ankara; 11th Sharjah Biennial, Sharjah; Egeran Gallery, Istanbul; 11th Istanbul Biennial; Endgame, South Korea.
