Die Musikerinnen des Ensemble Spiridionis lernten sich während ihre Studienzeit am Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon in Frankreich kennen. Im Verlauf der Jahre traten die Mitglieder Sacha Dessandier (Barockcello), Deni Torres (Cembalo) und Veronique Bouilloux (Violine) in dieser Besetzung innerhalb des Konservatoriums aber auch bei anderen öffentlichen Veranstaltungen auf und sind seitdem unzertrennlich. Aus dieser menschlichen und musikalischen Freundschaft heraus gründeten sie das Ensemble Spiridionis im Jahre 2017. Bereits in den Jahren 2015, im Rahmen der „Freunde der Orgel“-Assoziation in Charolles, und 2016, zur Erlangung des Masterabschlusses von Deni Torres, spielten die drei Musikerinnen in dieser Konstellation zusammen. Das Trio führte seine gemeinsamen Auftritte 2017 in Lentigny und Ambierle fort und tritt ebenso bei den Masterabschlusskonzerten seiner anderen beiden Mitglieder in Erscheinung.

Die Suche nach einem musikalischen Repertoire für diese Formation eröffnet viele Klangmöglichkeiten, innerhalb derer die Rolle der Instrumente stets verändert wird. Das Ensemble spricht verschiedene Stile mit seinem abwechslungsreichen Programm an: So erklingen u.a. Sonaten für Violine und Generalbass, für Cembalo mit Geigen- und Violoncello-Begleitung und Sonaten für Violoncello und Cembalo. Das Interesse des Ensembles für die Gestaltungskunst ermutigt sie außerdem, das Repertoire des 18. Jahrhunderts und der Vorklassik intensiv zu erforschen.

The musicians of Ensemble Spiridionis meet during their studies at the CNSMD of Lyon. Over the years, Sacha Dessandier (baroque cello), Deni Torres (harpsichord) et Véronique Bouilloux (violin) play together within the framework of the conservatory but also outwardly, and since they haven't left each other. It is through this human and musical friendship story that they founded the Ensemble Spiridionis in 2017. It has produced itself in Charolles within the framework of Friends of the organ association in 2015, then in 2016 for Deni Torres's Master's degree. The trio continues its collaboration in 2017 during representations in Lentigny and Ambierle, and also for Véronique Bouilloux and Sacha Dessandier's Master's degree.

The search of a musical repertoire for this formation opens many sound possibilities by changing the role of the instruments. The ensemble adresses different styles through a diverse programme: sonate for violin and general-bass ; sonate for harpsichord with a violin/cello accompagniment, sonate for cello and harpsichord, violon/cello duo.The ensemble's insterest for the art of ornament encourages them to explore the eighteenth century and the preclassic period's repertoire.
