Students debut at the sonic art biennial
Subtexts
The Dystopia Sound Art Biennial 2024 will feature the exhibition Subtexts, a collaboration with students from UdK's Master’s program in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts. Part of the “Dys/utopian Realities” project seminar led by Professor Georg Klein, it comprises seven unique works that will come alive in the exhibition space at studierendenWERK on Potsdamer Str. The exhibition explores various sociopolitical, perceptual-psychological, and epistemological themes, with a focus on the heightened debate around freedom of expression and art in Germany, particularly in the context of the Gaza war.
With support from studierendenWERK Berlin.
